Delete your Aimatee account
Last updated: 5 October 2026
You can delete your Aimatee account (the Aimatee app, package com.creative.aimatee) and the data in it from inside the app. If you no longer have the app, you can ask us to delete it by email. This page explains both, and exactly what is deleted and what is kept.
Option 1 — Delete in the app
- Open Aimatee and sign in.
- Open the You tab (Settings) and scroll to the bottom.
- Tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete.
You are signed out on every device straight away.
Option 2 — No access to the app? Ask us by email
Send an email to [email protected] from the email address of the account (the Google account email, or the address you use for email sign-in links), using this template:
To: [email protected] Subject: Delete my Aimatee account Please delete my Aimatee account and all data associated with it. Account email: <the email address you sign in with> Sign-in method: Google / email link I am sending this request from the email address of the account.
Before deleting anything we verify that the request really comes from the account’s email address; we do not delete an account on a request sent from a different address, and we may reply to the account’s address to confirm. Once verified, we delete the account the same way as in the app (see below).
Deleted immediately
- Your account is closed: you are signed out everywhere and cannot sign in again.
- Your voice recordings stored with us (voice messages, shadowing and practice recordings).
- Everything your AI coworkers remember about you (memories).
- Push notifications stop.
Deleted permanently after 7 days
A nightly job permanently deletes the rest of your account data once 7 days have passed:
- Your profile, name and email address, and your sign-in sessions.
- Chats, call and meeting transcripts, corrections and mistakes, pronunciation scores, practice and shadowing history, missions and progress, quota and activity records.
- Feedback you sent through the app, and your device push tokens.
If you deleted by mistake, email us as soon as possible. After day 7 the deletion is final and cannot be undone.
What we keep
- Purchase and top-up records (Google Play purchase token, order ID, product, price, dates). After day 7 they are kept without any link to you — no name, email or account — for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention and refund reconciliation, for as long as those obligations require.
- Copies at our service providers. If you had turned on analytics, events may exist at PostHog; AI request traces (which can include conversation text) are kept by Langfuse; and our hosting provider keeps operational logs. These follow the providers’ own retention settings. Email us and we will ask for your data to be deleted from them.
- Administrative audit logs of actions our team took on accounts, which contain no conversation content.
Your subscription is not cancelled automatically
Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. To stop billing, open Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Aimatee → Cancel subscription. Do this yourself even if you ask us to delete the account by email.
Want to remove only some data?
You can delete individual AI memories in the app under Settings → Privacy and memory → What Aimatee remembers, without deleting your account. For other requests, email [email protected]. See also our Privacy Policy.
